25 Positive Affirmations to Light Up Your Life

Some days you need a little pick-me-up. Whether it’s a grey, rainy day and everything you do feels like a slog. The car won’t start. The kids are acting up. You miss your train. Or you just plain wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Days like this can feel like a giant black cloud, coloring everything in darkness and reducing it to a slow, dark crawl.

But you don’t have to resign yourself to a “bad day”. To break away from this dreary mindset, and inject a little more light into your day, here is a list of positive affirmations. Pick one that resonates with you the most and Jot it down on a post-it. Tack it on your computer, desk, car dashboard, or wherever you spend the most time. Write it down in your journal. Recite it in front of the mirror a few times. Soon you’ll find your mindset shift and overall feel lighter.
